Hello there everyone!

I’ve decided to write this message, because I know there is a lot of talented people on DA, who would be interested in the proposition I’m about to declare.
As some of You might already know, but probadly You don’t, I’m working with on a quite interesting project, called Project Aurorum.

Basically it was a little Online Trading Card Game project, that I started some time ago. The whole thing was a fan made card game that i developed myself, but You probadly will see some similarities with popular MTG, and Pokemon, but don’t be fooled, because even if I was inspired by that design a little, the game mechanics and the whole game itself is a totally different story because it’s more strategic oriented.

The whole plan was to keep the game in fantasy-manga design,and that is what we are aiming for, but right now, Merillian and some other people who I asked to help are the illustrators, and as You all know, cards like these need some illustrations.  And here comes the proposition I’m about to declare.
Would You like to help us in completing our project with Your talent?

At the start I must say that I can’t offer You any money, at least not for now.  What I can offer now is the promotion. Everyone who would like to help and make illustrations, will have their nick or real name included on the card as the illustrator. Also, we plan to add a special feature in the game, that will allow users to view informations about cards via Card Album, and that will include illustrators and they websites, homepages or contact informations if they will like to add some of course.  I know it’s not much, but this is the only thing I can offer right now. You can alway treat it like a challenge  and I would be very gratefull for every help!

I will write some informations for people who would like to help.
There are seven elements:
Fire – Destruction, strength
Water (including Ice) – Manipulation, tactics
Wind (including lighting) – Speed
Light – Healing
Dark – Death, terror
Earth (stone, earth, sand) – Defence
Gaia (plants) – Life, refreshment
and nonelementl Artifacts.

Races: Human, Oni (demon kind),  Tel’vin (demon kind), Elves, Drows (dark elves), Kelpie (cross between human and horse), Banshee  (undead) and Dwarfs.

Card Types we now have: Creature, Spell, Trap, Aura, Charm, Artifact, Equipment.

What do we need? At the start  I would like to release at least three card sets , they will be like core sets. I would like them to include those basic elements. The illustrations should be colored, and You can use Your imagination, because our world is a world of endless possibilities, so there is place for a lot of ideas. The sets I wanted to release as the first:

-Aeon (Temple of artifacts) including Artifacts (Robots, Golems, Tools)  Equipment,  Blue, Red and some Dark creatures and spells. The main races would be Human (Artificers, Mechanics, Blacksmiths) , Dwarfs (same as humans) and some Tel’vin (Rogue) and of course creatures of those elements.

-Vividarium (The great Garden) including Gaia, Light and Wind elements. Main races would be Elves (Druids, Geomancers, Clerics, Spellcasters, Archers), Human (Druids, spellcasters, alchemists) Kelpie (Warrior, Illusionist) and creatures of those elements.

-Age of Eclipse including Dark, Earth elements. Main races would be Oni (Berserkers, Fighters, Morphers) Tel’vin (Rogue, Mages, Warlocks, Asassins) , Drows (Spellcasters, Summoners, Arcanists, Hunters), Banshee (Undead, Dark Knight).

It’s only some basic ideas that will evolve with the progress eventually. We want to give people some time to feel familiar with the game, and it would be a good start.  If players would like the game, we will add new card sets and features into the game.

ILLUSTRATIONS SHOULD BE HORIZONTAL! It’s very important, because it’s the best way to fit it good in the card.

Some time ago a quite big Polish company called Valkiria was interested in the project and offered promotion and their patronage, if of  course, It will be finished, or at least started on the net.  By ‘started’ I mean playable.  I already have really talented coders who will help me make a big site and put everything in motion on the net, but to do it, we need at least a concrete amount of cards to be ready.

There was a lot of questions like – ‘what should I do for your illustration’, so i decided to make a list of cards I’ve got in my head right now, so You can pick any one You would like to do, and do it if You don't have any idea of Your own right now .
It's ok if few people will choose the same card, because illustrations can always be used in different cards, so feel free to pick them.
Also, this is not the full list, It will be changed, some things will be added and so on. There will be much more artifacts here but i put only that much here, because my head need a rest for a while >_< I'm thinking to much hehe
If You see any mistakes in spelling, please let me know.
I'll try to update next set shortly when I've got some time, bacause like all people I'm also working, so You know how it works XD

Oh, and one more thing, If You would choose a card that have Aeon in it's name, please try to put the character in ruined artifact/temple environment, because this set is based on ancient Ruin exploration in search for ancient advanced technology and artifacts That's why there is so many engine based characters as mechanics, puppeters, blacksmiths, artificers and gunners
